In 2012 we converted a section of the stable block here at Cloncallow into a fully functioning HSE certified production kitchen. From this kitchen we have catered for many private parties and wedding in the Wicklow and Dublin area. We are so excited to finally be able to serve our food in the same place where it is grown and prepared. Cooking for small groups really allows us to follow our imagination and make the most of what is begging to be harvested from the garden on any given day.
Everything we serve in our garden
chalet is made here using our own vegetables, fruits and herbs from the poly tunnel, vegetable garden and orchard.
What we can’t grow ourselves we go to painstaking lengths to source in our local area. Coffee is roasted around the corner from us here by McCabe’s in Newtownmountkennedy, Chicken is always free range and organic from Co. Wexford and we make a weekly pilgrimage to Christy Byrne in Camolin Co. Wexford for all our beef, lamb and pork. We have even designed our own crockery with the help of the talented Geoffrey Healy in Enniskerry!
